The reasons behind not solving the tasks might be some of these:-

  1. They think that video lecture is enough and understood the whole concept clearly.
  2. They're not confident.
  3. It’s easier to ask rather than to solve it.

Solutions:-

  1. Moving forward only when a task is completed.
  2. The countdown for every task.
  3. Flexible / Fixed class timings.
Solutions Thought Process Assumptions Why Success metrics
1. Countdown After completing a certain video they have to complete the task of it within a countdown gets over neither they have to start all over again. I assume that there will be certification if they complete all videos+task/projects/assignments with >70%. We can add this feature at the end of the video so that the task is completed in 24/48 hours according to the time the task takes. 1. No. of task performers increased.
2. Flexible / Fixed class timings Flexible timings:- Anytime they can complete the tasks as per their schedule of the day. They may complete the learning journey before/on/after time.
Fixed Timing:- We(software) can schedule their videos/tasks/projects according to their daily work so that they complete their videos /tasks on time with fixed timings of the day. They complete their learning journey on time.
Flexible+Fixed:- If one opts for flexibility at first and then wants to move towards fixed timings so that they complete the assignments on time then we(software) can make a schedule of leftover things to complete in these many days within these hours daily.

e.g. Fundamentals section to be completed in 10 hours in a week. The student selects the time he is there for study busy he selected the apart from busy timings
